Leveling
Many different sources can be used to upgrade the level of equipment. Based on the type of item and upgrade track, it will cost Valorstones or Crests to raise the level of an item. Weapons, for instance cost more than gloves or bracers.

It is also possible to upgrade items through acquiring them in the game. Upgrade shards can be obtained by defeating bosses on any dungeon. They can be used to upgrade armor sets and weapons that allow them to be upgraded to the highest level. They can only be upgraded only once.

The upgrader has two major disadvantages: First, you can't count on certain items being upgradeable because they are part of random treasure lists. Second, it can be a bit frustrating to see a rare item that's the perfect match for your build and not be able to upgrade it.
Rerolling
Upgraders for items let players enhance the performance of units. These upgrades can be placed on weapons, armors and rings. Each upgrade can boost either physical power, spellpower, or health. For example an axe will be transformed into an axe, while a bow will be transformed into an axe.
It is simple to add a reroll option to a plugin, but it requires some thinking. Rerolling an item could eat the original item. This will use up resources and gold. It is not recommended to repeat an item that's been upgraded.
Plugins can make use of Notetags to modify the behavior of an upgrader. These notetags are similar the tags used in RPG Maker MV, but they can be associated with specific features. This lets the developer add custom traits/properties to an upgrader. Reroll plugins be used to, for instance, tag an upgrader to ensure that it only applies when the item is equipped with a particular weapon type. This will stop players from rolling an upgraded item over and over again. This will help players save time and resources and prevent them from receiving the same upgrade over and over again.
Sets
Sets are collections of elements that are easily grouped into distinct groups. They can be useful in many areas, including statistics and data management. Sets also have important properties, including the associative and commutative properties. These properties let you perform operations on them, such as union and intersection. For instance, you could ask a group of people to stand together (union of sets), or search for people who haven't finished their homework in the class (intersection of sets). Sets can also be used in everyday life to categorize items and organize information. For instance, you can use a set to divide your music playlists into different categories depending on genre.

Utilizing an item upgrader could increase the chances of success, but you should be aware that the upgrade could fail. If it fails, you will lose your items and Upgrade Crystals. Upgrades are slow and you can't always assure an upgrade.
